The project, which costs around VND 50 billion (USD 1.92 million) and is funded by the city budget, is expected to be completed in 2025.
Mong Bridge, which spans the Ben Nghe Canal between Districts 1 and 4, will be lit with colour-changing lights designed to harmonise with the canal's landscape and surrounding architecture.
The museum and the Children's House will use subtle lighting effects.
Artistic lighting will also be installed at the city's heritage sites, including Thu Ngu Flagpole, Ben Thanh Market and Ton Duc Thang Museum.
The artistic lighting installation aims to enhance the central urban landscape and highlight the city's architectural heritage.
