South Korean airline launches Incheon-Danang route

Budget carrier Parata Air has launched a direct Incheon-Danang route with seven weekly flights, raising the total number of direct flights from Korea to Danang to 112 per week.

Based in Gangwon, Parata Air is the 11th South Korean airline to operate routes connecting Korean cities with Danang. It uses Airbus A330 aircraft and offers free travel insurance for passengers.

Jang Dongwon, Parata Air’s representative in Danang, said the new service would help boost trade and tourism between Korea, Danang and Vietnam. He added that the airline plans to expand flights from Seoul and Incheon to Vietnam soon.

In the first 10 months of 2025, Danang welcomed 1.8 million Korean visitors, accounting for 30 per cent of all international arrivals.

Danang international airport currently hosts 29 direct routes, including 21 international connections, handling about 102 flights a day. Airport authorities said more than 21,000 domestic and international flights carrying 3.5 million passengers are scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2025.

Korean airlines flying to Danang include Asiana Airlines, Jeju Air, Jin Air, Air Busan, Air Seoul, Tway Air, Eastar Jet, Aero K and Air Premia, operating from Busan, Seoul, Daegu and Cheongju.
