The Ba Son Bridge, linking District 1 with the Thu Thiem area in Thu Duc City, was opened in 2022. However, it lacks an artistic lighting system, making it appear dull at night compared to the vibrant atmosphere on both banks of the Saigon River.

Around 20 workers are using two cranes to set up the bridge's lighting system. The work is scheduled to be completed before December 31, providing a new highlight for the city during the countdown to 2025.

The artistic lighting system is expected to bring a new look to the bridge.

After two days of work, the lighting system on both sides of the bridge has been mostly finished.

Ba Son Bridge, spanning the Saigon River, costs USD 120 million to build. The cable-stayed bridge is 1.4 kilometres long and has six lanes.
