Phu Quoc Express will continue to use the Thang Long high-speed ferry for these extra trips. Each Thang Long express boat can transport 1,000 passengers per trip. It will leave Vung Tau at 7.30 am from Cau Da Port, while return trips from Con Dao will depart Ben Dam Port at 1 pm.

With four more trips on the Vung Tau-Con Dao route, Phu Quoc Express can serve up to 8,000 more passengers. Along with the Tran De-Con Dao route, the firm is expected to transport 23,000 passengers during this year’s Reunification Day (April 30)-May 1 holiday.

Meanwhile, other operators still maintain a stable ferry service to Con Dao. Superdong conducts two daily return trips between Tran De Port and Con Dao, while Phu Quy Express continues its once-daily service linking Saigon Port in HCM City and Con Dao.
