The train runs on the Dalat-Trai Mat route and will offer a new experience for visitors and meet the rising demand during the Dalat Flower Festival.
Attending the event, Acting Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thai Hoc said the committee was co-operating with the railway sector to upgrade the Dalat-Trai Mat into one of the most beautiful rail routes in Vietnam.
VRC's General Director, Dao Anh Tuan, said the train boasts a luxury design combining Indochinese and French styles and technical upgrades for enhanced comfort.

"With this new train, we want to provide more quality transport services for visitors to Dalat," he noted.
The train has 36 seats arranged along two rows. VIP compartments with 12 seats cater to families seeking more private travel.

The Dalat-Trai Mat railway night service was launched on April 14 this year.

This is the remaining part of the 84-kilometre Thap Cham-Dalat railway route, which was built by French colonialists. It became operational in 1932 to connect the south-central province of Ninh Thuan with Lam Dong.
