This marked the first direct flight bringing Russian tourists from Khabarovsk to Vietnam's central coastal province.
Upon arrival, the visitors explored popular attractions in and around Nha Trang city, including Ponagar Cham Tower, Nha Phu Bay, Monkey Island, and Hoa Lan River. They also joined tours to Nha Trang’s night market, Nha Trang Bay, and VinWonders Nha Trang, in addition to enjoying scuba diving experiences.
According to Pegas Misr Vietnam Travel Company Limited, six more charter flights from Russia are scheduled to arrive in Khanh Hoa by the end of April, bringing thousands more tourists to the locality.
In the first quarter of this year, Khanh Hoa welcomed 2.5 million visitors, up 19.6% year-on-year. Of these, international arrivals surpassed 1.3 million, rising by 12.54% from the same period last year.
The number of foreign tourists is expected to keep growing as the province resumes more direct flights from key markets, including Russia.
