Statistics from the Hue Tourism Department show that nearly 1.5 million visitors stayed overnight in Hue during the period, representing a rise of more than 23 per cent compared to the same time last year.
This strong growth has been attributed to the city’s hosting of a wide range of large-scale cultural events and festivals, including the Hue Festival and activities under the framework of the National Tourism Year 2025.
Key attractions such as Hue-Culinary Capital, Hue Community Ao Dai Week 2025, and the final night of Miss Vietnam 2025 drew large crowds of both domestic and international travelers.
In addition, ongoing investments in tourism infrastructure, upgraded accommodations, and enhanced cultural and heritage experiences have contributed to improved service quality and longer visitor stays.
Nguyen Thanh Binh, Vice Chairman of the Hue City People’s Committee, emphasized that the city is actively promoting its image, developing innovative tourism products, and integrating heritage with modern elements to boost visitor spending and advance sustainable tourism development.
With a packed calendar of events, rising tourism appeal, and enhanced service offerings, Hue is drawing large numbers of domestic and international visitors, Binh said, adding that the city is on track to reach its target of approximately 5.5 million tourist arrivals this year.
