Firework displays over Hanoi's Hoan Kiem Lake on the 2025 New Year's Eve.
The Hanoi People's Committee has announced the plan to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30).
The first fireworks show will take place on the night of April 22 at the F1 racetrack in Nam Tu Liem District. The display will last 15 minutes, from 9.45-10 pm, and feature a combination of high-altitude fireworks, low-altitude fireworks, and pyrotechnic effects.
The second display is scheduled for the night of April 27 at Thong Nhat Park in Hai Ba Trung District, also from 9.45-10 pm It will feature 600 high-altitude fireworks shells and 90 low-altitude fireworks racks.
The Hanoi People's Committee has assigned the Capital High Command to lead the fireworks operations in coordination with the Hanoi Police Department to ensure public order and absolute safety during the events.
