Time Out recently published its ranking celebrating bridges that combine standout architecture with impressive engineering, and which have become iconic tourist attractions in their countries.
The Golden Bridge in Danang City placed fourth, ahead of globally recognised structures such as the Brooklyn Bridge in the US and the Sydney Harbour Bridge in Australia.

The bridge, built between 2017 and 2018 and opened to visitors in June 2018, is about 150 metres long and sits at an altitude of nearly 1,000 metres above sea level, offering panoramic views over Danang City.
Its most distinctive feature is a pair of giant, weathered stone hands that appear to lift the walkway from the mountainside, creating the illusion of an ancient relic despite the bridge’s modern construction. The design quickly became a social media phenomenon after its launch.
Visitors reach the bridge via cable car to the summit of Ba Na Hills, where the site also includes European-style architecture, a French village and entertainment complexes.
Time Out’s list was topped by the Stari Most bridge, a 16th-century stone structure in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Since its debut, the Golden Bridge has repeatedly attracted international attention. It was included in a Daily Mail list of new world wonders in 2021, and previously featured in Insider’s list of 28 stunning bridges worldwide in April 2020.

In 2018, the Guardian also named it among the 10 most beautiful pedestrian bridges in the world, while other outlets such as Time and CNN have described it as one of the world’s most famous pedestrian bridges.
