Under the new regulations, entrance fees at sites in the city’s western area will remain unchanged, including VND 20,000 (USD 0.76) for adults at Con Son-Kiep Bac, VND 10,000 at Den Cao Temple and Kinh Chu Cave, and VND 5,000 at Co Island.
Site management units will retain 100 per cent of the collected fees for conservation and service improvements.

Cat Ba Island
Meanwhile, entrance fees at Cat Ba will increase significantly. Admission to Cat Ba’s bays will be set at VND 120,000 for adults and VND 60,000 for children, while routes within Cat Ba National Park will remain priced at VND 120,000. The Ninh Tiep-Tien Duc Cave route will cost VND 80,000.
Overnight stay fees on the bays will range from VND 400,000 to VND 650,000, depending on the number of nights.
The city will waive entrance fees for children under six, people with severe disabilities and school groups on extracurricular trips, while offering a 50 per cent discount to students, the elderly, low-income households and people with disabilities.
