Cold spell set to strengthen in northern region

A cold spell is predicted to impact the northern region from November 27, potentially bringing temperatures in high mountainous northern areas to under 10 degrees Celsius.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, a cold spell is currently moving north. From the evening of November 26, the northern region is likely to experience a mild reinforcement of cold spell, resulting in continued cool temperatures.

During this drop in temperatures, the weather in the northern and northern-central regions will experience chilly spells lasting through the night and into the morning.

Minimum temperatures in the northern region are expected to be between 16 and 18 degrees Celsius, while mountainous areas may see temperatures of 10 degrees Celsius, with several locations experiencing lows below 10 degrees Celsius.

In the capital city of Hanoi, the minimum temperatures are projected to range from between 16 to 18 degrees Celsius from November 29 to November 30.
