A fire destroys nine electric shuttles at Huong Tich Pagoda tourist site on July 8.
According to local authorities, the blaze started at around 11 am on July 8 from an electric shuttle that was charging inside a 100-square-metre garage on the pagoda grounds. The fire quickly spread to adjacent vehicles, sending thick plumes of smoke tens of metres into the air and triggering multiple explosions.
Ha Tinh police deployed two fire trucks and 12 firefighters to the scene to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading to other areas within the tourist complex.
The fire was brought under control within 30 minutes, but not before it completely destroyed nine electric vehicles and a passenger car.

Authorities are now inspecting the scene and investigating the cause of the incident.
Huong Tich Pagoda is a well-known pilgrimage and tourism destination in Ha Tinh. Visitors typically reach the pagoda by electric shuttle combined with a cable car or by hiking on foot.
