The scene of the fire.
Earlier, at 9.45 pm on November 6, two fishing boats owned by residents of Tan Thuy Commune, suddenly caught fire.
After receiving the report, the authorities quickly arrived at the scene. By 12.25 am on November 7, the fire had been fully brought under control.
The blaze destroyed two boats, with estimated losses of about VND 1 billion (approximately USD 40,000). Another fishing boat was also affected, but because the fire was extinguished in time, losses were limited to about VND 100 million.
