Tien and her daughter live in a dilapidated house in a local forest.

On windy nights, Tien and her daughter are often worried that their house could collapse. She has been to different hospitals for treatment, but it has not helped.

Suffering from this illness since 2015, when she gave birth to her daughter, Tien is not only in pain but also feels insecure. She does not dare to go out but mainly stays at home. The woman is also facing diabetes and varicose veins.

In 2022, her husband left home without saying a word.

Tien has faced psoriasis for many years

Tien peels cashew nuts at home, earning just VND24,000 a day.

According to Nguyen Long Ho, a Tan Lap Commune People's Committee representative, Tien's family is among the poorest in the locality. Local authorities have offered a tuition fee reduction and 95 percent of the health insurance costs for her daughter but they need more support.

The official hoped donors could join hands to help them build a new house.
