Rare Dak Nong animals released into the wild
As many as 15 rare animals in the Central Highlands province of Dak Nong have been released into the wild.
According to the forest management board from Tuy Duc and Dak R’lap districts, the animals consisted of two 9-kilo pythons, three 2.4-kilo squirrels and ten 2.4-kilo salamanders.
These animals were illegally kept by a woman named Le Thi Mau in Dak R’lap District’s Hung Binh Commune. Mau was fined VND6 million (USD255) for the violation.
