Organised by the Swedish Embassy and some Swedish companies under the theme "Pioneer the Possible," the tour aims to engage students in meaningful discussions regarding these crucial issues.
According to the Swedish Embassy in Hanoi, this university tour serves as a continuation of the successful Pioneer the Possible conference and exhibition, organised by Team Sweden in collaboration with Vietnamese counterparts from both the government and the private sector.
The Pioneer the Possible roadshow aims to share Swedish experiences related to the quadruple helix model. It also seeks to facilitate discussions between Swedish businesses and Vietnamese universities, particularly in areas such as sustainable transportation, green energy transformation, greening the heavy industry, bioeconomy and digitalisation.
The events feature a series of engaging activities and presentations aimed at fostering interactive discussions and knowledge exchange.
In her welcoming remarks on Wednesday, Swedish Ambassador to Vietnam Ann Måwe said this event provided an opportunity for the talented young Vietnamese in Danang to engage in discussions about innovation and sustainability.
"By sharing our experiences and fostering collaborations and co-creation between Sweden and Vietnam, we aim to inspire the next generation of leaders who will pioneer positive change," she stresses.
Dr. Le Nguyen Bao, President of Duy Tan University, said he believed this event will greatly benefit our lecturers and students and contribute to their academic and personal growth.
"We eagerly anticipate the valuable insights and experiences that will be shared, inspiring our people to create a sustainable future for all," he said.
The Pioneer the Possible University Tour was first launched in Hanoi in 2022 and it had made visits to HCM City, Can Tho, and An Giang earlier this year before arriving at Duy Tan University and FPT University in Danang.
