The holiday would begin on Saturday, January 25, and conclude on Sunday, February 2. It includes five official days off and two weekends.
The Ministry of Home Affairs has also agreed on the five-day break proposal for the Reunification Day and May Day holiday, lasting from April 30 to May 4, 2025.
For the National Day holiday, the ministry took the four-day option from August 30 to September 2, 2025.
Vietnamese people have 11 public holidays annually, including Tet Lunar New Year Festival, Hung Kings Temple Festival, Reunification Day-May Day, and National Day.
