Hanoi streets severely jammed as new school year starts
Many streets in Hanoi were seriously congested this morning, September 5, when local schools held ceremonies for the opening of the 2024-2025 school year.
From the early morning, Nguyen Trai, Truong Chinh, Ton Duc Thang, Lang, Nguyen Chi Thanh, Tran Duy Hung, Cau Giay and Xuan Thuy, faced congestion.
Parents flocked to the streets to take their children to school for the opening ceremony of the new school year.
People had difficulty moving on local streets.

This morning, around 23 million students across Vietnam started their new school year, including 2.3 million in Hanoi.
