The case occurred at around 8 am this morning, August 9, at the warehouse of a packaging firm in Ninh Van Commune’s Hoa Lu District. At that time, a group of builders were demolishing part of an old wall of the facility for repairs, the entire wall and the beam system and roof suddenly collapsed.

As a result, one male builder, aged, 63 and one female builder, aged 62, were killed on the spot. Meanwhile, another male builder was injured.

During the time of the incident, many workers of the packaging firm were inside the warehouse. Fortunately, the area where the wall and roof collapsed was situated at the outer corner near the entrance, so the workers inside were safe.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
