Hanoi hotel catches fire
A fire broke out at a hotel in Hanoi’s Dong Da District this morning, June 11.
The incident happened at around 11:45 am at the Capital Garden Hotel on Hoang Ngoc Phach Street.

The column of smoke from the fire rose tens of metres high from the electrical engineering area on the fifth floor of the hotel.
At the time of the fire, there was a group of workers doing repair work on the top floor of the building. However, luckily, the fire did not cause any casualties.
According to the commander of the Fire Prevention and Control Police Board of Dong Da District, firefighters were sent to the scene to put out the flames and around 30 minutes later, the fire was brought under control.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
