
The inspection, which will focus on the company's traffic safety implementation, should be reported to DRVN by October 15.
Five people were killed and four others were injured after the Thanh Buoi sleeper bus crashed into a 16-seat van head-on on National Highway 20 in southern Dong Nai Province on September 30.
According to the police investigation, the accident occurred at around 2.30 am when the bus driven by Hoang Van Tinh, 37, was carrying 32 passengers from HCM City to Dalat City. The bus was running at 69 km per hour right before the crash, while the permitted speed on the road section is 50 km per hour. The bus driver had just overtaken a truck, hitting the truck's bumper before straying into the wrong lane and hitting the oncoming van, which was also speeding at 79 km per hour.

The crash left the van's driver, Nguyen Van Canh, 34, and four of its passengers dead. The four other passengers were seriously injured.
Tinh was arrested. Police in Dong Nai said that Tinh had no driving license when the accident occurred. He had his licence had recently been revoked for three months for speeding.
