Hai Yen scored twice within seven minutes of the first half to clinch a convincing victory for Vietnam.
After the match, coach Mai Duc Chung said he was happy that Vietnam cruised to the second qualifying round after defeating Nepal that ranks second in South Asia in a two-legged tie.
Vietnamese players acquired more experience and skills from their Nepalese players to prepare for coming matches.
In the second qualifying round, Vietnam and 11 other teams will be divided into three groups to choose three group winners and the second best team to play for an Olympic ticket.
Coach Mai Duc Chugn and his students are scheduled to return to Hanoi on April 9 afternoon and they will train in the lead up to SEA Games 2023 in Cambodia in May.
