VND4.3 trillion project to upgrade road linking to Long Thanh airport

Around VND4.3 trillion (USD169.25 million) will be spent on upgrading and expanding a road connecting Long Thanh International Airport in the southern province of Dong Nai.

Road 773 will be expanded to 39 kilometres with eight lanes. Work is scheduled to start this year and be completed in two years.

Dong Nai has allocated 302 hectares of land in Long Thanh, Cam My and Xuan Loc districts to serve the project.

Of the total investment, VND1.7 trillion will be for site clearance, resettlement and compensation.

The road will help reduce traffic pressure on National Highway 1A and boost connectivity to the industrial quadrangle of Bien Hoa, Long Thanh, Trang Bom, and Nhon Trach.

Dong Nai has also prepared for the construction of Road 770B  and the upgrade of Road 769.

Road 770B will be expanded to 53 kilometres with eight lanes to connect Long Thanh International Airport.
