Fuel prices rise third consecutive time

Domestic retail prices of petroleum products in Vietnam rose again at 3 pm today, June 27, following the adjustment jointly decided by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance.

The price of biofuel E5 RON92 grew by VND510 per litre to VND22,010, while RON95 rose by VND550 per litre to VND23,010.

Diesel oil prices also rose by VND320 per litre to VND20,680 per litre. Kerosene prices increased by VND260 per litre to VND20,610 per litre, and mazut oil prices rose by VND220 per kilo to VND17,440 per kilo.

This is the third consecutive fuel price hike. So far this year, fuel prices have seen 15 increases and 11 decreases.

The ministries decided not to subsidise the price stabilisation fund.
