The government delegation, led by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh (second from right) inspected the establishment of the new field hospitals. Chairman of the HCM City People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Phong and the municipal Party Secretary Nguyen Van Nen also joined the group.
Around 600 people have been assigned to take care of 6,000 patients, consisting of 200 medical workers and the remainder made up of volunteers.
Each room has 4-6 patients. Most of the patients do not have any symptoms.
Necessities are being prepared to serve patients.

The prime minister encouraged medical workers at the field hospitals to overcome the difficulties posed in the fight against Covid-19. On the same day, necessities and medical equipment were sent to the facilities.
Doctors at the Hospital for Rehabilitation and Treatment of Occupational Diseases and the University of Medicine and Pharmacy are in charge of providing treatment for the patients.
HCM City’s third field hospital was previously established in Binh Chanh resettlement area.
