Australian-British string quartet Bond is returning to Vietnam to perform with some famous local singers in Hanoi tonight, March 25.
Singer Pham Thu Ha will perform with the quartet for the Harem composition.
"Bond has been described as the best-selling string quartet of all time with over 4 million records sold. To me, they are talented and creative girls who paved way for classical crossover and synth pop. I'm quite nervous but looking forward to working together," Ha said.
Members of Bond also said they were happy to return to Vietnam and wanted to understand more about the people and culture here. They are considering to bring the texture of Vietnamese music into their next works.
Song-writer Quoc Trung, the event's director, said, "Apart from two veteran singers, Thanh Lam and My Linh, the rest are young and talented singers. They are Pham Thu Ha, Phuc Tiep and Maius Philharmonic band. They have passion for music and were trained in an orthodox way but have never stopped creating new and innovative sounds. This show will be a fresh air with new remixes and compositions. And it's also a surprise I want to bring to the audience."
The one-night-only show will take place at the National Convention Centre on March 25.
Bond first performed in Vietnam last October during the Monsoon Music Festival.
