The programme began with the East-West Economic Corridor International Trade, Tourism and Investment Fair (EWEC) from August 12-17, followed by Horecfex Vietnam 2026 on August 20-21, focusing on the hotel, restaurant and tourism sectors.
The Ngu Hanh Son Vu Lan Festival will take place from August 21-23, while the Dai Binh Tourism Festival in Nong Son Commune will showcase green tourism, nature and community-based experiences.
The Chien Dan Communal House Festival will take place on August 26, while the "Danang Urban Sketches" exhibition will run at the Danang Fine Arts Museum from August 26 to September 15.
During the National Day period, activities will extend to Hoi An, My Son and the city's western mountainous areas.
Hoi An Creative Week 2026 will run from August 28 to September 2 at Hoai River Square, while a special edition of the Hoi An Memories show will be staged from August 26 to September 2 at Hoi An Memories Island.
At the My Son temple complex, the "Echoes of My Son" arts programme and Cham folk singing will be held on September 2. The "Champa Dance" programme will take place the same day at the Danang Museum of Cham Sculpture.
From August 29 to September 2, a Co Tu village festival at Dong Giang Heaven's Gate Ecotourism Area will introduce visitors to the indigenous community's culture and natural surroundings.
Several museums, including the Danang Museum, Danang Fine Arts Museum and Danang Museum of Cham Sculpture, will offer free admission during the holiday.
Sun World Ba Na Hills will provide free shuttle buses for visitors, while the Dragon Bridge will continue its fire and water shows at 9 pm on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
A highlight will be the 2026 Pickleball World Cup at Tien Son Sports Arena from August 30 to September 6, drawing nearly 5,000 athletes from 81 countries, alongside music and a World Market with more than 200 stalls.
