Thac Bac, or the "Silver Waterfall", in Sapa has been a tourist attraction for years, but now is marred by trash.
Despite many refuse bins that have been put in near the waterfall, both tourists and locals continue to litter in and around the site.
Waste has piled up at the foot of bridge running across the waterfall, making it look like a dumping ground.
