A man from the H'Mong ethnic group is in need of financial support to treat his heart disease.
Song Thi Do and Cu A Tu
Cu A Tu is staying at the Cardiology Department of Hanoi's Bach Mai Hospital. He was scheduled to be operated since last week but Tu is too weak for heart surgery and still doesn't have enough money for the operation to go ahead.
Dr. Pham Nhat Minh said, "Tu has heart failure, he should be operated on as soon as possible and have both of his heart valves replaced. Insurances for minority groups will cover part of the cost, however, he still has to pay VND90m (USD4,000)."

Tu's wife, Song Thi Do, has managed to raise VND5.5m and has refused to eat lunch to save as much money as she can.
Tu is the pillar of the family for his wife, his two-year-old son and his disabled and mentally-ill brother so the illness has put huge pressure on the whole family.
