Dantri-funded classrooms ready for new school year in Dien Bien

Several construction and renovation projects funded by readers of Dantri/Dtinews have been completed at two satellite campuses of Sen Thuong Kindergarten in the mountainous province of Dien Bien, improving learning conditions ahead of the new school year.

After several weeks of construction, a new boarding kitchen, a school gate and an access road at the Ta Lo San campus have been completed. Existing facilities, including classrooms, floors, walls, roofs, drainage systems and other supporting infrastructure, have also been repaired and upgraded.

At the Ta Khoa Pa campus, deteriorated classrooms have been renovated, while a covered playground and a permanent perimeter fence have been completed, providing pupils with a safer and cleaner learning environment.

The projects were funded through donations from Dantri/Dtinews readers and charitable supporters after the newspaper highlighted the poor conditions at the two remote mountain schools.

Nguyen Thi Ngoc, headteacher of Sen Thuong Kindergarten, said the support from readers and donors had enabled all planned construction and renovation work at the Ta Lo San and Ta Khoa Pa campuses to be completed on schedule, allowing the facilities to be brought into use before the start of the new academic year.
