Dantri/DTiNews Newspaper puts into use two new classrooms at a school in the northern mountainous province of Lang Son on November 2.
The two classrooms covering 140 square metres belong to Van An Primary School in Chi Lang District's Van An Commune. The VND477.25 million (USD18,816) project was funded by donations from readers of Dantri/DTiNews Newspaper and Kaopiz Holdings JS Company.
Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister of Labour, Invalids, and Social Affairs, Nguyen Thi Ha, highly appreciated Kaopiz Holdings Company for their contribution to the project. She also complimented Dantri Newspaper for carrying out many meaningful projects for children in difficult areas including Lang Son's Van An Commune over the past 20 years.

"I hope that the new classrooms will help the teachers and students here work and study better," the official said. "And they will have more joy at school and love the new classrooms as they love their homes."
Attending the event, Dantri's Editor-in-Chief Pham Tuan Anh expressed his thanks to deputy minister Ha for having supported the newspaper in their social and charity projects.

"Thanks to the ministry's support, we've built 52 school projects and have just started the 53rd in the Central Highlands Province of Kon Tum," Anh said. "We're also targeting to build 100 houses for low-income people nationwide following the call from the Minister of Labour, Invalids, and Social Affairs, Dao Ngoc Dung, and have so far completed 57 houses."
Anh also sent his sincere thanks to local authorities and the donor for helping to build the project in Lang Son.
"I hope that the new facilities will help provide better conditions for local children to study and build a better future so that they can better develop their hometown in the future," Anh said.
At the event, Vice chairman of Chi Lang District People's Committee, Nguyen Hung Manh, expressed his gratitude to Dantri/DTiNews and Kaopiz Holdings JS Company for their help in building new classrooms in Chi Lang District.

Manh shared that the old classrooms in Na Thua are the village's severely deteriorated community house, and they have been used for the past 17 years.
"The new classroom construction project has been completed after just three months," he said. "Now our students won't have to travel long to study. Thank you so much."
Attending the ceremony, Kaopiz Holdings' general director, Le Van Hoang, also presented 10 computers for the school.
"We hope that our gifts can help bring more chances for the students here to access better education," he said. "We'll also expect to develop more such projects for the community."
At the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Labour, Invalids, and Social Affairs, Nguyen Thi Ha, presented 20 scholarships to local students. Dantri's Editor-in-Chief Pham Tuan Anh also gave 10 scholarships worth VND1 million each, which are funded by Dantri's readers.
