As part of the UNESCO Travel Fest 2025, the Business Matching programme, scheduled for March 14 in Hanoi, is expected to help tourism enterprises nationwide connect, explore, and expand cooperation opportunities to stimulate Vietnam's tourism industry.
The annual UNESCO Travel Fest (UTF) has garnered significant interest from Vietnam's tourism business community. This year, the event is projected to welcome around 800 participants, including individuals and organisations, alongside hundreds of enterprises in travel services, aviation, transportation, and both domestic and international destinations.
UNESCO Travel Fest 2025 will take place on March 13-14, 2025 at the National Convention Centre, organised by the UNESCO Hanoi Travel Club - HUTC under the theme Shape the Future. A key highlight is the Business Matching – TableTop Networking session on the afternoon of March 14, offering a professional B2B networking space where domestic and international entities can directly meet, discuss, seek partners, and establish strategic collaborations.
Commenting on the programme, Doan Ngoc Tung, Vice President of the UNESCO Hanoi Travel Club, emphasised: "In the tourism sector, B2B activities play a crucial role in fostering cooperation and market expansion. Business Matching – TableTop Networking at UTF 2025 provides a platform for sponsors and businesses to connect, promote their brands, and seek long-term development opportunities."

The organisers anticipate 500 attendees, including tourism businesses, investors, and trade promotion organisations. Notably, nearly 100 tourism service providers, including airlines, service suppliers, hotels, and tourist destinations, will showcase their products and services at the event. Many leading domestic and international tourism corporations have already confirmed their participation.
"We are actively negotiating strategic partnerships with several travel agencies, hotel investment groups, tourism complexes, and major airlines to implement practical tourism initiatives, contributing to the stable and sustainable growth of Vietnam’s tourism industry," Tung stated.
Supporting the 2025 Tourism Stimulus Programme: 'Vietnam – Go to Love'
Within the framework of UNESCO Travel Fest 2025, the UNESCO Hanoi Travel Club will launch and announce promotional product packages in response to the 2025 Tourism Stimulus Programme Vietnam – Go to Love, initiated by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism on February 28.
Additionally, on March 14, a famtrip will be organised at Duong Lam Ancient Village, Son Tay Town, Hanoi, in collaboration with the Hanoi Department of Tourism. This famtrip will host 200 official UNESCO club members, invited guests, and travel businesses from Hanoi and other provinces.
Beyond sightseeing and immersive experiences, such as visiting Va Temple and Mia Pagoda, exploring centuries-old houses and unique traditional alleyways, and discovering local cuisine, the delegation will also engage in environmental protection initiatives. A key activity will be the installation of awareness boards promoting the message Say No to Plastic Waste in tourism activities.
