VietJet Air resumes Dong Hoi-Hanoi flights

Budget carrier VietJet Air will reopen flights between Dong Hoi City in the central province of Quang Binh and Hanoi starting April 24.

VietJet Air will operate three weekly flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

The reopening of the Dong-Hoi route will make travel more convenient for passengers during this year’s peak summer tourism season.

The airline has also unveiled plans to operate 22 charter flights on the Taipei-Dong Hoi route over a year, beginning March 31.

Meanwhile, the airline continues to operate the Dong Hoi-Ho Chi Minh City route with three round-trip flights per day and may increase the frequency based on travel demand.

The Airports Corporation of Vietnam and Quang Binh are collaborating on a project to upgrade Dong Hoi Airport. The project includes building Terminal 2 and expanding the aircraft parking apron.

The airport has exceeded its designed capacity and will serve roughly 1 million passengers annually by 2025.
