A fireworks performance at the Danang International Fireworks Festival 2024.
According to the municipal people's committee, the fireworks will start at 10 p.m. and last 25 minutes at Asia Park, which is located along the Han River in Hai Chau District.
The performance will feature high- and low-altitude fireworks, which visitors can watch from Bach Dang Pedestrian Street, 29/3 Square, or some bridges spanning the Han River.
Other events will also be held to celebrate the anniversary, including an exhibition titled Danang-50 Years of Development and Integration, a parade on Bach Dang Street and surrounding areas, and a boat competition on the Han River.
The city has also decided to extend the floral displays along Bach Dang Street until May for the celebration.
Meanwhile, ten teams will participate in the annual Danang International Fireworks Festival 2025 from May 31 to July 12.
The central coastal city is set to serve 11.90 million tourists, including 4.8 million foreigners, in 2025, an increase of 10 percent and 17 percent, respectively, on-year.
