The incident occurred at around 6:30 this morning, June 10 near a wood processing workshop in Minh An Commune.

Trieu Duc Quy, the commune chairman, said the landslide hit the building while two workers from the workshop were carrying wood. One of them escaped, while the other was buried. The victim is Trieu Thi Bien, 55, from Dong Que Village.
The rescue was quickly conducted and two hours later, the victim’s body was found. Local authorities provided the victim’s family with VND13 million.
Minh An Commune faced heavy rain on Wednesday.
