According to the initial information from Lien Khuong Airport, the incident occurred on the evening of August 11. The female passenger who travelled from Danang to Lien Khuong Airport, sat on the baggage carousel to make a TikTok video while waiting to pick up her luggage. Airport security quickly stopped her.

The woman had to work with the Southern Airports Authority over the case. Her behaviour was treated as disorder in the aviation sector capable of posing danger.

Another video depicting a young woman using Ho Chi Minh City’s Tan Son Nhat International Airport’s baggage carousel as a shooting location was also published on social media in late July.

Head of the CAAV Dinh Viet Thang also decided to issue a six-month flight ban to a woman posing for a TikTok video at the Phu Quoc Airport tarmac starting from today, August 17.

The passenger deliberately violated regulations on aviation safety and security and public order at airports when dancing on the runway on May 18, he concluded.
