A woman in Hai Duong Province is in desperate need of financial support to cover medical fees for her heart problems when her family cannot afford.
Nguyen Thi Thuy in Gia Loc District was recently taken to Bach Mai Hospital in Hanoi after exhibiting a high fever, dyspnea, pains and convulsive fits. Doctors then diagnosed that she was suffering from myocarditis.

Thuy's husband said that Thuy had shown the symptoms two months ago, but when coming to hospitals, doctors said that her health condition was nothing serious. She remained weak after giving birth. However, early this month, she became more tired and had difficulty breathing.
Five months ago, the young couple had the first child. Now, the mother has to stay at hospital, leaving her baby thirsty for breast milk.
Doctor Nguyen Hoang Quan from Bach Mai Hospital said that Thuy has to take extracorporeal membrane oxygenation which is very costly because some of medicines and equipment are not covered by health insurance.
"Her condition has showed signs of improvement, but her family can't afford more treatment. If the treatment is stopped, she will die. She is too young and she has to live to take care of her five-month baby," Doctor Quan said.
To date, her husband has borrowed hundreds of millions of VND to pay hospital fees for Thuy, but now, he does not know how to get more money to save his wife. He feels powerless.
Every day, Thuy is taken care of by her 10-year-old younger brother, while her husband has to stay at home to look after the baby.
