Whale spotted off Binh Dinh coast

A whale has appeared off the coast of the southern central province of Binh Dinh.

Local people in Hoa Hai Commune saw the whale on July 14. At that time, it was surfacing to hunt for prey in the area, some 1.5 kilometres from Ganh Cape in the commune.

The whale is around 8 metres long.

Huynh Ngoc De from Hoa Hai Commune captured some images of the whale.

According to the commune authorities, this was the first time a whale had been discovered near the coast.

Ganh Cape is nearly 100 kilometres from Quy Nhon City’s centre. It retains its pristine beauty, rocky shores, and long, sandy coastline.
