The Tan A Dai Thanh Group has donated water tanks and purifiers worth VND200 million to flood victims in the central province of Nghe An.

Marketing director of Tan A Dai Thanh, Bui Thi Xuan visited Dantri/Dtinews Office in Hanoi on October 10 to give 70 water tanks and 10 water purifiers which they wanted to donate to flood victims in Nghe An's Ky Son District which was hard-hit by recent flash floods.
Xuan said that after reading Dantri's article about flood victims in Nghe An's mountainous district of Ky Son calling for support, they decided to send the water equipment.
"We hope that the equipment will help people in these areas have clean water," Xuan said.
Chief of Dantri/Dtinews Newspaper Office, Le Dac Thinh Dong, expressed his sincere thanks to the Tan A Dai Thanh Group for supporting the newspaper's charitable programme and sending such vital items to the flood victims.
"These water equipment are significant gifts for local people in those flooded areas who face clean water shortages," Dong said. "We hope to receive more support from Tan A Dai Thanh for our future charity programmes including building bridges and schools for poor remote areas nationwide."
Hundreds of poor people in Ky Son are in need of support after losing their houses and belongings to a recent flash flood. The flash flood occurred following heavy rains that were triggered by Storm Noru. Seven people in the province died and close to 20,000 houses were flooded.

Editor-in-Chief of Dantri/Dtinews, Pham Tuan Anh decided to send VND 45 million to 14 local families. On October 5, Dantri/Dtinews representatives visited and gave VND5 million to a family who lost a member and their house to the flood. Thirteen other families whose houses were also swept away by the flood were given VND3 million each.
