The decision was announced on Monday as an effort to avoid the Covid-19 epidemic which is spreading in Italy.
The suspension of visa exemptions for South Koreans was also implemented on February 29 when the number of virus cases sharply increased in the East Asian country.
People from South Korea, Italy, and Iran have also been required to fill in health declarations and stay in quarantine areas for 14 days.
