The Vietnam Fund for Learning Promotion has allocated VND1bn (USD43,478) to help students in some southern localities buy devices for studying online.

Pham Huy Hoan, vice chairman of Vietnam Fund for Learning Promotion

Pham Huy Hoan, vice chairman of Vietnam Fund for Learning Promotion announced the plan in response to the Internet Connection and Computer for Students Programme. The money will be allocated to the associations for promoting education in Dong Thap, Long An, Tien Giang, Binh Duong and Dong Nai provinces.

The money will be used to buy devices for students with difficult backgrounds to study online.

Students receive new tablets to study online

On September 27, Vietnam Association for Promoting Education transferred VND400m (USD17,500) was also sent to help the students in Ba Vi, Ung Hoa, Soc Son and Chuong My districts in Hanoi. Each district received VND100m and Ba Vi District was given 25 computers.
