An additional 748 new Covid-19 infections were confirmed on Sunday, raising the national tally to over 10.76 million, according to the Ministry of Health.
As of Sunday evening, the number of Covid-19 patients in Vietnam has increased to 10,767,948.
On July 24, an additional 9,772 more patients recovered from the disease, raising the number of recoveries in the country to over 9.86 million.
On Sunday evening, no deaths related to Covid-19 were announced. Total fatalities stayed at 43,092, accounting for 0.4 per cent of total infections.
By July 23, the country had injected more than 242 million doses of Covid-19 vaccines.
