The routes are Hanoi-Narita (Japan); Hanoi-Incheon (South Korea); Hanoi-Sydney and HCM City-Sydney in Australia.

National flag carrier Vietnam Airlines will reopen four international air routes from April 1 to June 30 this year
Flights from Hanoi to Seoul will depart on every Thursday, while those from Hanoi to Tokyo depart on the third, the eight, the 11th, the 16th, the 23rd, the 27th and the 29th in April. In May and June, the frequency for the two routes will be two flights per week on Thursday and Sunday.
Flights from Hanoi to Sydney are scheduled for departure every Saturday. There will be two weekly flights linking HCM City and Sydney on Thursday and Sunday.
Currently, flights connecting Vietnam and foreign countries only serve Vietnamese people who study, work and visit relatives abroad. The flights have to conform to the entry procedures of the foreign countries.
People need to study entry regulations of countries they want to enter to ensure necessary procedures. Airlines are not responsible for any failure to enter the destination country.
At present Vietnam Airlines only run flights to repatriate Vietnamese people as well as foreign experts approved by management agencies.
