The incident occurred at 2 pm Paris time on Monday when flight VN18 using Airbus 350 was set to take off from Paris for Noi Bai International Airport.

According to a representative from Vietnam Airlines, some technical problems were detected at the aeroplane’s communications and reporting system. Vietnam Airlines quickly co-operated with Air France and Airbus on repairs.
Nearly 40 passengers were prioritised to take alternative flights by Vietnam Airlines or other airlines from Paris to Hanoi, including those with small children.
The Paris-Hanoi flight was rescheduled for 10 pm on June 25 Paris time.
