A Vietjet Air representative said the relocation of their international services to T4 demonstrates the expanding operations and development of the low-cost airline over the past five years and will help to reduce the time passengers spend on transfer buses from the remote gate to the terminal.

The representative noted that since their first flight to HCM City in 2014, Vietjet Air has continuously increased flights and opened new routes from Hanoi to Singapore, to meet the growing travel demands, and promote trade exchanges and regional integration.

T4 was officially opened at Changi airport on October 31, 2017, serving more than 1.6 million passengers, operating more than 9,400 flights.

Modelling itself as a “Consumer Airline”, Vietjet Air has purchased new aircraft, invested in modern technologies, and provided added value products and services. The airline also offers diverse promotional programs on tickets and provides passengers with novel options.

At present, the airline has a fleet of 55 A320 and A321 aircraft and runs 385 flights per day with more than 55 million passengers on 82 air routes throughout Vietnam and internationally.
