
They stressed the need to develop infrastructure in Nhon Hoi Economic Zone (EZ), provide incentive policies for foreign investors, and develop human resources to meet demand for skilled workers in the EZ.
They praised the province’s efforts to have attracted 52 foreign direct investment (FDI) projects with a total capitalisation of US$1.7 billion since the beginning of this year.
Tran Thi Thu Ha, Deputy Chairwoman of the Binh Dinh provincial People’s Committee, said the Petroleum Authority of Thailand (PTT) – the chief investor of the oil refinery project - will organize a press conference on August 15 to announce the list of international bidders and consultants for the project.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade has asked the Prime Minister to include the project in the national oil and gas zoning plan till 2015.
