The accident occurred on the afternoon at a construction site of Viet Tri-Ba Vi Bridge when the cable of a crane carrying a 200-tonne concrete piece suddenly broke. The concrete fell onto one person who was working nearby and another who was sitting in the crane cabin. As a result, both of them died on the spot.

The two workers were Le Van Quy, 44, in Nghe An Province and Le Van Hung, 28, in Thanh Hoa Province.
Local police are investigating the case.
