One fire was reported at a hill in Cao Xanh Ward on Wednesday. It then spread to neighbouring areas. Despite being sent to the site quickly, it took the fire service several hours to put out the flames.
On the same day, another big fire occurred in Bai Chay Ward. The strong wind fuelled the fire, affecting a two-hectare hill. Hundreds of people and vehicles were mobilised to extinguish the fire.
The causes of the fires are under investigation.
