The incident happened when a truck was running along Long Kieng Bridge in Nha Be District.

Emergency services attended the scene and searched for the two drivers. Bui Xuan Cuong, director of the HCM City Department of Transport visited the site early this morning. He blamed the collapse on the 15-tonne truck that was travelling on a bridge with a load capacity of just 3.5 tonnes.
Despite being warned by the bridge guards, Nguyen Thanh Lam, 30, tried to drive the truck through the bridge.
