The service will operate as trains PL1 and PL2 from Monday to Friday, connecting Hanoi, Giap Bat and Phu Ly stations.
PL1 will depart Hanoi Station at 6.15 am, stop at Giap Bat Station and arrive at Phu Ly Station at 7.22 am. Medical staff will then be transferred by shuttle bus to Bach Mai Hospital's Ninh Binh campus.
The return service, PL2, will leave Phu Ly Station at 5.20 pm and arrive in Hanoi at 6.30 pm, providing daily transport for hospital employees after work.
Vietnam Railways said it was finalising operating plans and preparing rolling stock, personnel and other necessary resources to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Railway infrastructure units are also inspecting safety corridors and reviewing road-rail crossings along the Hanoi-Phu Ly route ahead of the service launch.
Meanwhile, Hanoi, Giap Bat and Phu Ly stations are upgrading passenger facilities, parking areas and pick-up and drop-off zones to support the daily commute of doctors and medical staff.
